Day 185/365 - Hey good looking, what you got cooking....

In this case Pork chops! Yummy. I thought this would be a unique shot for the day, the oven was already on so I had to stay a bit away from the door with my camera, I like how the heating element is so lit up in the shot.

Simple shot point straight at the oven..

...hows about cooking something up for me....

Day 184/365 - I've been awake for a while now You've got me feelin' like a child now....

I was blowin' bubbles for Brendon, now that's an alliteration, heh heh... He likes looking at them float around the room and I attempted many shots with the camera. Here's my favorite.

What a unique shot, I love the colors that showed up from the soapy bubbles, very cool..

...Cause every time I see your bubbly face I get the tinglees in a silly place...

Day 183/365 - Here comes the bride...

My new sis-in-law. My brother got married this day in Winthrop, MA . I took this shot of his new bride sitting on her dad's corvette. She was so happy and hamming it up for the camera..

What a great shot, the lighting, shadows, the great pose!

...all dressed in white..

Day 182/365 - Youre my pop-si-cle!....

Ok I'm really stinking up the joint with this sad shot , my popsicle, I didn't get anything this day and snapped this before it was too late. It didn't quite come out the cool way I wanted it too. I was a bit tired and couldn't think...

BLAH...

And this is the half way mark ? I'm counting tomorrow's as over the hump, it's a better day for pics..

.....From the very first time I met you, girl, you captured me
Youre my pop-si-cle!....

Day 181/365 - Gimme a (BRAKE) I sure deserve it It's time I made it to the top....

Metal on metal sounds is not good when you are trying to stop your car. I just got my brakes replaced after that happened. Look at the bright new shiny rotors :)

On a second note I started my photoblog a day on 12/25/09 and it is now 6/25/09 on this pic, Just about halfway, I can't believe there's only 6 more months to X-mas and then my NEW Photo Blog Idea... I'll give hints as I get closer... first one is : yellow

....Gimme a break I’m looking forward
Get behind me pull out every stop....

Day 180/365 - The long and winding road That leads to your door....

I always wanted to see the view from behind the stores in the Blackstone Valley Shopping area. It's quite deserted in the back a long fence separates you from the hill of doom. It's quite steep and lined with large boulders to keep the land from sliding into the roadway below. Anyone familiar with 146 North knows the insane boulder stacking I'm talking about..

Point and Click, a few tries here and there.

...Will never disappear
Ive seen that road before...

Day 179/365 - I just have to look good, I dont have to be clear.....

Struggle, struggle for pictures some days.. A closeup shot through the laundry basket made for my shot of the day. Inside are my typical colors I wear quite often, browns and oranges. Not much I can add to this.

Closeup shot a bit blurry, but a neat looking pattern, something different.

...Come and whisper in my ear
Give us dirty laundry.....

Day 178/365 - Counting flowers on the wall....

Here are 2 dresses that Abby had a choice of wearing for her 4 year old birthday pictures. Jenn asked us which one we liked, I voted for the one on the right. That's what she went with....

I love this shot here the different patterns and the light from the window created a great shot.

...they don't bother me at all....

Day 177/365 - C is for cookie....

Awww, look what Brendon got me for my first Father's Day! A baby cookie monster, so cute, so incredibly sweet, too sweet, ahh I was on a sugar high after eating this little thing. It's hard to eat something that has eyes and is staring at you though, a little freaky!

Nice, clean, crisp shot of the sticky sweet cupcake.. Thanks Brendon , Thanks Michelle ;)

....that's good enough for me....

Day 176/365 - I got you babe....

Here's Pepe Bob holdin Brendon at a party at Michelle's parents house. It was his 62nd anniversary to Meme Terri! Wow. Brendon spend the whole day outdoors and enjoyed it , he didn't really fuss at all even getting passed around and around and around.. :)

I like this portrait shot of Pepe Bob a neat closeup and Brendon's head.

... I got you to hold my hand, I got you to understand...

Day 175/365 - Red red wine you make me feel so fine

Didn't have anything that day and noticed the cool look of this red light at Michelle's parents house in Burrillville. I thought I'd need a tripd to keep the shutter open longer due to the lack of light, but I didn't, it shot this with no delay and the look came out kind of cool.

Like I mentioned, simple shot in the dark.

....You keep me rocking all of the time...

Day 174/365 - Can you hear me now ?

Good, speaking of signs! Here's the sign from the Verizon Wireless Seekonk, MA store resting on the grass. They are working on something on the building and removed it. I parked right in front of it and thought I HAVE to get a picture of that it's perfect.

I love the clarity and they way the colors are so bright and vibrant in the shot.

....We never stop working for you.....

Day 173/365 - Lines, lines, everywhere there's lines...

I was trying to take a night shot picture of the solar lights we have on the walkway because the neat light cast on the sidewalk would have made for an interesting picture, yet I couldn't get it quite the way it should have looked. I opted for playing with the camera and moving it as the shutter stayed open for 7 seconds in this case. Some neat effects were created.

Do this, don't do that can't you see the lines....

(remember that Tesla song ? Signs)

Day 172/365- Going to the chapel And we're gonna get married....

Here's the spot where we are going to be married in October, I stopped by here on the way back from CT since I drive right by the area I thought , let's see it in the springtime. Such a nice place , very serene and beautiful...

Great contrast of colors with the white and greens and the bright cloudy blue sky...

....Gee I really love you
And we're gonna get married
Going to the chapel of love....

Day 171/365 - I was gonna clean my room until I got high.....

Some funky mushroom is growing in my front yard, it looks like it could be some psychedelic mushroom that some people get their kicks off of, who knows. All I know is I wasn't touching it but it made for a cool shot for the day.....

Nice macro shot lying down in the grass, cept for the grass stains on my pants now....

...I was gonna get up and find the broom....

Day 170/365 - Ooh baby I love your way every day....

Brendon makes another appearance, I love this shot, trying to get him to enjoy being on his belly, he'd rather sit up, or stand up , at 4 months!! He's got such strong legs already. He's lookin' at his dada here, ooooh....

Closeup shots on the baby are tough without the flash or just the right light, I think I got it just right here...

...wanna tell you I love your way everyday....

Day 169/365 - Shake it, shake it like a Polaroid Picture....

Here's a shot of an old Polaroid camera. These things were great in their day and people are still using them even today, albeit the film for these are getting harder and harder to find. I picked up a few on Ebay , just waiting for them to arrive. I'm not even sure if this thing still works, but it's in pristine condition.

....Shh you got to, shake it, shh shake it, shake it, got to shake it.....

I love the shot , it's such a still life shot and the colors while a bit yellowy, orangey, due to the wall color and table actually make it look like and older picture.....

Day 168/365 - I started singin' ,bye-bye, miss american pie.

Here is a bit of leftover apple pie that we had the other night when Jenn was visiting. It tasted mighty fine for a store bought pie.

I opted to almost stick my camera in the pie plate to get a closeup of this leftover tastiness. Neat macro shot , unusual angle on a piece of pie I thought...

...a long, long, time ago...

Day 167/365 - Someone's in the kitchen with Dinah Someone's in the kitchen I know......

I really had only a few pictures this day as well and I thought I'd try something by placing the camera on the floor coming from the great room. You can see the stove and a bit of the counters in the kitchen here and the dirt and a bit of junk lying around.

I used the floor to let the camera stay still and keep the shutter open as long as it needed to get the shot. I like the way the lighting came out in the shot...

...someone's in the kitchen with Dinah, strummin' on the old banjo....

Day 166/365 - It's a jungle out there Disorder and confusion everywhere....

Well another shot around the monastery in Cumberland. This is the side of the old monastery where some monks used to worship. It burned down many years ago and is now the Cumberland Library. I love the architecture on this building.....

Great shot of the lone window against the stone...

...No one seems to care
Well I do...

(MONK theme song)

Day 165/365 - Well, well, well you never can tell .....

Didn't get out for any pictures this day and I have been including more people in my daily pictures so I wanted one of Michelle. Here she is sitting on the couch with the glow of the TV reflecting off her face. Such a pretty smile...

Nice shot, a closeup, if I could just mask out that dark wall in the background with something more neutral...

...well, well, well, my Michelle.....

Day 164/365 - Where have all the flowers gone?...

Nothing today, really no ideas for any shots, but I thought I always take shots of lively, bright colored flowers, why not one on its way out ? Well here is one , while rather ugly is also rather interesting too me.. Nature creates beauties and takes them away just as well...

Simple, basic, macro shot. good detail on the leaves and the wilted flower.

...Girls have picked them every one....

Day 163/365 - the itsy, bitsy spider....

Ok, he's not really doing that song but it sure looks like it. Here's Brendon in his monthly portrait picture too, he's looking inquisitively at Daddy and all serious like as well. His right eye is a little red from scratching it, but he's fine :)

Such an adorable photo of baby, i can't NOT like this shot!!!

....went up the water spout...

Day 162/365 - Whats new pussycat? woah, woah....

Ok more cat pictures, but I couldn't resist putting in this photo for this day, the others were just blah. Shadow gets in two shots this week, nice. Here are the two little buggers sitting on the dining room chairs. They posed for the picture.

Neat shot, The way I took the shot it was only possible to focus on one of them for full clarity, although it may have been neater if the foreground was blurred and not the back.... Still a nice shot ....

... Pussycat, pussycat I love you Yes, I do!...

Day 161/365 - Our house, in the middle of our street.....

It almost looks like a full size house until second glance, or is it ? Well this is one of the decorations at the miniature golf place in Seekonk, MA. It's pretty detailed for a decoration...

I shot this from the car using a little bit of zoom, don't want to raise too many suspicions taking picture from the car though.. ha ha...

...Our house, was our castle and our keep....

Day 160/365 - In the navy Yes, you can sail the seven seas....

I can't get close enough to this boat that I see when I am in Middletown, RI heading to the BJs store. It's on a military base there. I really wanted a picture for a while so I stopped and took this one from afar, and I mean afar, this is probably a mile or more away from it. That's how big this thing really is!!

A fully zoomed shot with the 70-300mm telephoto Tamron lense. Pretty grainy at full size, and those pesky power lines getting in the way as well...

...in the navy Yes, you can put your mind at ease...

Day 159/365 - So needless to say I'm odds and ends But that's me.....

My new month self portrait was inspired by accident. I was trying something else with the camera at first when I noticed that I could align the closet doors in such a way as to get my front, back, and profile shot all at once! For some reason I keep thinking of that A-ha song Take On Me where in the video the guy comes out of the drawing and into reality...

Cool shot that looks like it's pasted together, no camera tricks here, just mirror tricks. I like it....

...Take on me, take me on....

Day 158/365 - pretty in pink isn't she....

Walking around the garden in the warm sunshine I took a look at the blooming azaleas, this is the one that I moved a few weeks earlier I believe, if not it's the one next to it, anyways, looking great...

The contrasting colors look great in this closeup. I love the sunlit photo and the shadows cast on the set back leaves....

...pretty in pink....

Day 157/365 - From the halls of Montezuma....

Our cat shadow is constantly jumping into any cardboard box he says as soon as it's in the room, so..... I saw these cool cat toy, a cardboard tank, ha ha, and you think the cat uses it ? Of course not, he'd rather squeeze himself into the baby's cardboard toy box instead, ugh...

Couldn't quite get the shot I want with his head popping out the top , so I had to take this one, with flash from above.. .

...to the shores to Tripoli....
