Day 48 - It's like a light of a new day-, It came from out of the blue.

Another month where I can take another self portrait. This is me hanging out in the loft of the shed in the backyard. It's a neat little place that I've been cleaning out in my spare time and eventually want to make it a little cottage retreat. At the moment I have to climb up an unfinished ladder step and then climb on top of a desk and hoist myself in here. It's kinda cool space though. It was 50+ degrees out so I thought it was a good time to jump up there and take some shots...

I took many shots here with my camera by attaching the camera to the tripod (shadow) and setting the timer to 10 seconds. It took many tries to get some good shots and while this isn't my favorite shot of them all it shows that I am actually up off the ground and you can get a sense of the size of the shed and height as well. The sunlight provided some great shadows and lighting, almost a bit too much lighting, but the washed out look of the shed is fine for my picture. The actually color of the shed at the moment is a pale yellow, the same as our house, again at the moment eventually we will paint everything and I may shingle the shed as well!

....Believe it or not, I'm walking on air....
