Day 12 - red alert!

I came back to the parking lot at my office and there was a little commotion going on. An ambulance, police, and this fire truck parked alongside. I dont' know what was going on , there didn't seem to be any great urgency as I saw know firefighters or medics for the 5 to 10 minutes I stood around to take a few closeups of the vehicles.

A few people kept looking at me with my camera bag as I looked for the non walk-up shot. Perhaps they thought I was a newspaper photographer or soemthing. I sort of felt like one too at that point, the ever so eager journalist trying to get the scoop for the papers tragedy column. No Just some photos to document society.

I particularly enjoy the whole shot being only a portion of the fire engine. Yet just from this rear end you can see the whole picture, the emergency, the live saving fire hose, and the symbol of america, our flag. You know who and what all of this stands for from just a small piece of evidence.

I'm suddenly thirsty....
