What a nice way to start off the new year by having some sushi. New Years day we needed get some things done and pick up a few things at the store, so before that we headed off to Jackie's Galaxy in Cumberland. I don't eat sushi as often as I used to or would like to, so when I do I try to enjoy it as much as possible.Front and center is some tobiko, surrounded by negihama maki, maguro, saba, suzuki, and a Boston maki. That may be all gibberish to you, but to me it's just delectable pieces of raw fish.
I like the nice contrast of colors in this photo. The bright oranges surrounded by contrasts of black and white and then subtle hue differences of reds and pinks. The picture is centered upon the favorite of the photographer, both in taste and color.
