Day 25 - there is unrest in the forest....

We keep getting more and more snow. Won't it stop!! Well I was out and about after snowblowing the driveway I walked around the yard and took all sorts of nature pics. I noticed the big pine trees in the back covered with the white stuff so I ventured in for a closer look. It's somewhat ominous to venture under a snow covered tree with camera in hand, knowing that any moment it could unleash a heaping helping on top of my. Well that said it was quiet peaceful under the trees.

I took a few different shots from a few different angles of this tree, but this I like the best. I placed the camera directly on the tree trunk and looked straight up. It gives a unique view of the tree I never noticed before. This kind of reminds me of a spiral staircase of sorts. The sky is a bit washed out in the shot, but the overall essence of the tree remains intact and is a very unique look on an otherwise commonplace natural object.
