Day 26 - Wait a minute Mr. Postman....

I'll be waiting a lot longer for my mail if they don't shovel these out! This is the parking lot for the Post Office in Cranston, RI. It was MLK day so that is why there seems to be no lack of urgency to shovel out the cars in the lot. I took a few other pictures yesterday down in Mystic, CT , but this really shows the day. All government activity grinding to a halt to honor one very important man. So as I drove down the street I spotted the open gate and drove up to the entrance and took a few shots.

I love the line up of all these trucks in the photo. The jpg version of the picture for some reason seams very washed out due to the sun glare off the ice, but the raw format looks much better , richer colors. As I mentioned previously though, I put up the unedited versions of the pics , not any modified ones.
